Kiffy Stainer-Hutchins & Co are one of the designated specialist conservators and consultants to the internationally renowned Art Law Department at Mishcon de Reya Solicitors, to Aviva PLC’s remarkable and disparate art collections, and to several leading contemporary art gallery including White Cube in London and the Lisson Gallery in London, New York and Milan. Additionally, and since 2005, KSH & Co Ltd have provided both specialist consultancy and an ‘on-stand-by’ hands-on conservation team at London’s annual internationally celebrated contemporary art fair “The Frieze”. Kiffy Stainer-Hutchins & Co also care for the paintings collections belonging to the Marquis of Cholmondeley (Cholmondeley Estates) – including Houghton Hall in Norfolk and Cholmondely Castle in Cheshire, as well as the collection of the Marquis of Townshend at Raynham Hall in Norfolk, all of which include fine and decorative works dating from the 16th century to the present day.
Since the retirement of Pauline Plummer, Kiffy Stainer-Hutchins is also the Norwich Diocesan Office’s designated conservation specialist adviser for painted medieval Rood screens and early English panel paintings, as well as other painted artifacts, held by the many spectacular Anglican churches and cathedrals of East Anglia.
