Kiffy Stainer-Hutchins & Co was established in 2004 and in 2012 the KSH & Co group was created to broaden the scope of our painting conservation. Kiffy previously worked for over fourteen years in leading museums in the UK and USA, both Kiffy and Hugo Platt are Professionally Accredited Members of the Institute of Conservation (ICON) shown in the Conservation Register.
Our Team, lead by Kiffy Stainer-Hutchins, draw on a wealth of collective experience enabling us to complete the most demanding projects with alacrity.
Operating from a purpose built, state of the art studio on the Houghton Hall Estate in North Norfolk. Our Facilities allow us to specialise in the conservation, restoration and technical study of both easel and monumental paintings from the 14th Century to the Present Day.
Specialising in painting conservation as well as offering a complete range of conservation services the projects we take on are very diverse. No job is too small or too large and Our Clients include significant private collections, independent owners, major and minor public and private galleries and museums, government bodies, commercial galleries, insurance companies, legal bodies as well as the National Trust, English Heritage and the Church of England.
