The Heartbreak of Princesses: talk at Raynham Hall November 29th 2019 – 6.00pm
A talk by conservator Emma Boyce Gore from KSH Conservation on the process of cleaning and restoration of a pair of portraits given to the Townshends by Charles II. This fascinating illustrated talk is introduced by Lady Townshend who will outline the family’s domestic history and how their childhood years were traumatised by the Civil War, exile and the beheading of their father Charles I.

In the evening of Thursday 30th November, Nicola, Hugo and Emma will be visiting St Andrew’s in Trowse to talk to parishioners and supporters of the church about the recent conservation and restoration of their painting The Resurrection of Christ by J T Heins, undertaken in our studio.
